Lets see some wind flag photos

Hello,

I've done a lot of searching on wind flags. Just like to see some close up photos of the flags everyone is using as I am gathering up the items to build some flags for our local club. Thanks in advance.

Top to bottom. Wicks dual vane. Have 4 and just use them around the house when I'm testing some new combo. I've taken these to a few 100 yard score matches when it's raining. I haven't seen any of these at any score match that I ever attended. Mostly used in rimfire BR. Middle one is an Aussie BRT flag. I have 6 of these and only use them for 100 & 200 yard matches. At 300 they suck, way to small. Bottom: My friend made 8 of these for me and you can see these babies all the way to 300 with no problem. They stand out and are so damn easy to see.

Well Mike I have an unusual combo, orange on one side and pink on the other. That's the way I spec'd them when he made them for me. Of course the BRT's are ass backwards on their colors. Usually the orange is on the right side and the green on the left. I like the ass backwards colors because when everyone's flags are showing orange mine are showing green and you can pick up on the color difference quickly. That's why I had him put the pink on the right hand side and the orange on the left.

Simple ISU type wind flag. Made over 100 of them in the past year - most for ASSA National Championships (prone, 3-position and F-SBR) and making more for some clubs and friends. Bright red flag.....

Here's my wind flag design. Surveyor's tape and heavy steel wire from old election yard signs. I know, a bit ghetto, but better than nothing, right? Don't want to hear anybody say that they don't use wind flags because they can't afford them...

Google Ezel wind flags. I've got 5 small I'll sell. (No stands) I like the large ones.
Killoughs shooting sports sells them.
Go to American benchrest & Professional rimfire on FB and look.
There are allot on the market.

I made some to put at my local range for rimfire f class i shoot.

They were cheap to build, i used a old yellow rain coat to make the streamers, when i have to replace the streamer i will just buy a shower curtain probably.

Parts list per 2.
1- stick of 1/2" pipe i used plastic coated
2- 1/2" couplings i used stainless
2- 5/16" 1/2" long shoulder bolts
2- 1/2" pipe plugs
2- 3/8" large diameter washers
2- small zip ties
2- 5/16" small washers
Cut the pipe in half, i actually cut mine into 2 4' pieces
In the pipe plugs i drilled and tapped the end to screw in the shoulder bolts
In the large diameter washer i drilled a 1/8" hole by the outer edge to zip tie the streamer to.
I made the streamers about 2" wide and 20" long.
Works pretty well a lighter possibly fabric streamer would probably be better, and they are easy to throw together. I drove them in the ground about foot using a block of wood on top so the sledge didnt destroy everything.

Edit: may have been 3/8" shoulder bolts which are threaded 5/16"

I know I've done my research and shot over a lot of different commercially available flags. I just wanted to see some folks creations

Mine were cheap to build ecspecially since i had most everything already. I use them for my small bore f class events. Im sure the commercial ones are tons better, but mine made a huge improvement for me.
