68 grain Bergers loads for 6br?

Will a 10 twist work for these? If so what powder ,primers etc. should I start with? Appreciate any info.

Yes!

H-322

Remington 7 1/2

I run "0" freebore with bullets this light and .020 off the lands.
I was working with these last night and can't get close to the lands with my set up even with the bullet seated .200 into neck. Guess I will see how they like to jump or go heavier. Not sure what the 10 twist will stabilize?

10 twist will stabilize "most" 100 grain hunting bullets and down but wont stabilize the 105 class vld bullets. The Berger 90 gr bt and the 95 gr classic hunter are good options that usually shoot well and are easy to tune.

For the lighter 68 gr bullets, h322 and n135 have been tops for me. .200" is way more than necessary in the neck, if shooting paper and loaded single shot. I wouldn't worry about that until you get to around only .100" of bullet in the neck. You can get by with even less. Some loads will shoot fine jumped but I still prefer to load at some amount of jam or just off for most guns/loads.

The Bib 95 fb and the Berger 87 vld are both good choices for a 10 twist. I had good luck with these loaded over imr8208

It's been too long and and don't have my notes. Am thinking start at around 30 gr but check this against published data and work up. Every barrel is different and primers are usually one of my last load changes, as in most cases, they all work pretty well but some may show some improvement over others. Ya just have to try them and see. A gun I'm shooting now prefers Remington primers. I hate Remington primers! Lol! The primer makes more difference in this cartridge/barrel than any I can ever remember dealing with. Still not a lot, relatively speaking...but it's a br rifle and everything matters in that game.

I hear ya about everything matters, Going to call Bart today also and see what he suggested. Thanks

like stated above you can go less than .100 on grip,,,I start to worry when it get ~.050" with a 6mm bullet,,,30 cal must be ~.075" to hold em properly ,,,,if you use Fowler or Watson style bullets they will have longer bearing surface which give more grip and all/ows longer seating length,,,,try LT-32 ,,,every gun and combo is different ,,,Roger
