The best load I have found for my .223 Savage LRPV with a 1 in 9 twist is the 69gr Sierra Match Kings over 25.0 W748 with a Federal 205M primer and either Remington or Lapua brass set between .005-.0010 off the lands. It shoots in the high 1's and low 2's 5 shot groups.

I like the idea of 748 because it will meter so well in myHarrels Culver!

I’ve never had 77s shoot as well for me as 75’s but I tend to on;lay use them when shooting past 300....

I have the same gun but have yet to work up a load for it. I sent it to a good gunsmith and asked him to work his magic and shorten the barrel some. Came back at 19/20”...can’t believe it....
