Are you looking for a hunting rifle or a target rifle? I think it might matter.
ADG, out of Elizabethtown, KY is now offering 7SAUM brass and it is in stock. I've not heard anything bad about their brass but it odes appear to be expensive; maybe more than Lapua 6.5-284 brass.
If I were to build either it would be a minimum 8.5 twist and a long action. There are just too many excellent heavy for caliber bullets out there now to take advantage of.
IMO, having owned and shot one with great results, I would choose the 7WSM over either of the two you're looking at but the brass situation there is so incredibly difficult it moves a fine cartridge way down the list of consideration for the fast sevens.
Norma 300 wsm brass is phenomenal. Most benchrest and fclass guys use it. Primer pockets are super tight and brass is very consistentThats my issue with 300 wsm too... brass... if I cant get good brass it aint worth it.
