Can anyone share their loads for a straight 243 win and H4350 with a lapua case? new to the caliber and would love some PET loads

For what weight bullets?

Any and all info to what particular bullets your planning on using.
Any and all info to the chamber specifications, primarily free-bore length.
Established or planned seating depths, COAL, etc.....
Barrel length and twist.
i dont really know the freebore but its short . im most likely going to shoot the 95 smks or 105 hybrids

Savage 12 LRP factory 26 inch tube.
Berger 95 vld target, 41.0 h4350.
2.191 using sinclair comparator inserts in a caliper. 210m primer. I do not remember exact speed but it's fast for me. Lapua case. Puts these .018 off lands when barrel was new.
Same savage 12. 58 vmax 42.0 varget cci 200 federal brass 2.137 sinclair comparator measured, very fast and woodchuck unfriendly.

Remington 700 adl 1964 vintage factory barrel. 85 sierra game king . 42.0 h4350.
210m remington case 2.205 using sinclair comparator. This is my daughters deer load.
And remember these work in my guns and may not in yours. Work up carefully.

Thank you!

Similar results for me, 42 grains H4350, 87 grain Vmax, .020" jump, 10" twist Tikka, Winchester brass, 3000fps.
INTRAINING IS SPOT ON WITH THIS LOAD ALSO MY 243 ACKLEY'S SHOOTS VERY WELL WITH H-4350 WITH 75GR V-MAXS AND 87GR V-MAXS THEY WILL STAY IN THE MID, .1'S AT 100YDS

Don't overlook AA2700. During the great H4350 drought I tried some AA2700 (have quite a bit on hand) and found it to be amazingly accurate with 75 and 87-grain VMAX bullets. Easily up there with H4350 in my rifle.

Been shooting the 243 Win since the late 60's. Owned a dozen or so of them. Shot just about every bullet / powder combo out them.

If you want an all purpose, very accurate, hunting combination try the 85 grain Sierra BTHP / IMR 4350 / Federal 210 primers. This bullet shoots like a match bullet and has excellent terminal performance. I've used successfully on ghogs, predators, and white tail. On deer go for a broad side slightly behind the shoulder shot - it will drop them quickly.

This combo bring out the full potential of the 243 as a dual purpose cartridge.

IMR 4064 also works very well with this bullet.

I was also shooting these at 42.something grains in a lapua case as well they just did not have the gusto for me at 900 and 1000 like the 95 gr vld target do.

95 VLDs, 42.5 grains, h4350, Nosler case, CCI200. Great load at external magazine length. Could push it more, but the round is just too accurate in my rifle.

87 gn Berger
42.5 IMR 4350 *CAUTION over book max*
CCI 450
040" off

Barnard SM, Bartlein 1 in 8 24" 3000fps.
Use for *fire forming* in my .274 neck Ackley chamber, groups in .2's with no load development.

+1 on what K22 said about the 85 Sierra and 4350 being deadly on whitetails. Been using that combo for 15-20 years or more. Not flashy, not expensive, it just works.

K-22's load of, 42.3 grains ( found accuracy Node of, 42.1 to 42.7 gr's) of IMR 4350/ CCI 200's with, the 80 Sierra Blitz #1515, shoot's, in the .2-.3 range ( 3 shot, cloverleaf's ) in my mostly "stock", 1-10 Tikka T3, .243 Win. I'm starting to work up loads for, the 87 grain, V-Max and 87 Berger, HVLD with N-160 ( in the 42.5 to 44 grain "range" for both, 87's ) and will test shoot them again, as soon as, the darn WIND dies, down ! The Snow, Wind and rain gives me, "Cabin Fever" and lots of time, to reload, but the "testing" gets put on, the back burner,.. LOL !

YEA I STAY AROUND 450 TO 500 YDS WITH THESE

I am hoping to shoot BOTH 87's ( Horn V Max for Varm'nts. and OR, Berg. HVLD's ) to 700 yards Maximum, for Coyotes/ Wolves ( Antelope, w/ HVLD's to 600 ) that's, one full turn, 12 MOA + a couple more, clicks, on my 4-14.5X Burris Scope @ 700 yds with, a custom made, "Turret Tape" for "Dialing", distance's. Coyotes and Wolves are, a pretty small Target, out that far. My New Tikka T3 Lite SS, .243 win., shoot's amazingly well, so far !

243 win . Remington 700 adl factory 1:9 twist Winchester brass pockets trued and flash holes reamed .
44.5 H4350 80 gr Nosler Ballistic tip , win large std primer . My gun likes a .010 jump at 3100 fps .
I've been shooting the 243 for over 40 years on coyotes to white tails in Missouri without fail . I have tried a plethora of bullets over the years but always seem to migrate back to the Nosler BT for its massive energy dump.
IMO it is one of the most accurate and forgiving calibers out there but when the 243 doesn't like a specific load it doesn't mind telling you. I have pushed this load to 450 yds on white tails and well past a grand on coyotes with very satisfactory results if I do my part.
