Wow, what a bunch of strangeness

No doubt there are alot of asses on the hide but they cater mostly to prs shooting. And there is alot of good information there for the person interested in prs shooting. However ive found prs guys almost as upity as trap shooters. This is my favorite and most educational shooting sports site. The guys here are gold and willing to answer questions without being condescending. On an off topic note I think most of the reason I will never own a 6.5 creed is bc of the know it all s on the hide. They think that it's God's gift to the shooting world.

I can read his findings or work. I cannot listen to him, it's the voice, or pitch, I have to tune it out.
He is a poster child for the East Coast tribe. I get a kick out when he talks to the total opposite of personalities like a David Tubb. Franks is kinda on the wild side, and David is about as reserved as they come. But at the end of the day, I always learn something. I can't get through one of Frank's episodes w/o laughing at something he says or does.
One podcast I had to give up on tho is 'The Precesion Shooting Podcast' (from Australia?) They too have valuable info to share, but as I contacted them about my complaint, they seem to have a nervous type of laugh that they can't seem to leave alone while discussing technical topics. Good guys. Good guests. But it just doesn't work for me.
The podcast formats are the way to go in the future. It sure beats the heck out of the so-called 'News' and other talk radio.

That was the conclusion I came to after listening to his podcasts for a week or so. He also gives the impression that if you don't have 15K + worth of gear you wont have any fun. I am sure he is a good shooter, bla, bla , etc, but I unsubscribed and haven't looked back.
Yeah, just looking at the members pics they post and the affluent neighbors they must live in is the difference I guess. I couldn't afford the rigs, let alone pay the taxes on some of those cribs. But it's nice to know how some people choose to spend their $$ if you have the $$ to spend, what choices they make and why.

How do you even get a podcast? Ive never had an ipod
If you have a smart phone, you can get it through your app store for free. I use bluetooth headphones and wear them working around the garage, yard, house w/them on. Great for mowing grass, riding bicycles, etc. And my phone is loud enough that I can just listen to the podcast while driving down the road.

These are my current favorite podcasts. Beats talk radio for sure! Enjoy!

Of course, you're being facetious, I get the humor.

Works. Its a little overkill for my application . Its like 5-25x or something and 34mm tube I think. I tried to register on SH years ago and seems like it said membership was full and wouldnt allow me to register. Never been back except to read an occasional google search result.

A few years ago it was associated with a sports type division. Frank tried it, then left if I’m correct. You had to re-register I think.

I haven't been on snipers hide much, but I will say this: I had the pleasure of meeting a real sniper once. He was a humble modest guy who did not like or want to talk about what he had done, or could do, for his country. He never said much more than "I'm a LBO" when asked. Only reason I know that he was a sniper is another acquaintance knew of him and filled me in. Apparently the "LBO" wasn't a particularly small fish.
