Anyone own one of the new Sartorius Entris scales? Thinking of buying one of the Entris models. I think the draft cover seems a bit cumbersome. I think it will interface with the auto trickler and auto throw?

I use a Dandy Trickler, so I just replaced the side glass door with Plexiglas so I could drill a hole the right size and height for my trickler. I own a Entris 64..

That model isn't specifically listed as compatible on the AutoTrickler web site. If Adam doesn't respond here, send him an email and ask.

I went to Adam McDonald's web site and all of the Sartorius Entris scales will adapt to Auto trickler. The reason I asked about this one is because it has a smaller foot print than the 64. This model reads to .001 while the 64 reads to .0001. Adam recommends a scale with a reading of .001 which he says is more than enough for accurate reloading. That would be quite an improvement over my lowly strain gauge load cell Pact scale. I called Dandy and his trickler does not interface with any of the digital scales. You have to buy the manual Dandy and operate manually. Thanks for all replies guys! There seems to be a question in my mind that maybe the 64 may be over kill and may present some sensitivity problems.

I love my 64. It is so fast and decides which digit shows for the third number. I ignore the fourth, but it makes the third ten times more accurate. Look up the resolution and accuracy. Matt

I also use a Sartorius Entris 64 with the Dandy trickler. It's faster than the auto trickler.
How do you throw enitial charge weight ,im using chargemaster with brass insert to .1 gr shy then manualy trickle . This takes a few steps handling powder . Also Dandy hopper comes off from time to time . Is it worth changing to an auto set up ?

I too set my Chargemaster to .1 or .2 below final charge weight. Once the initial charge is reached I transfer the charge from the Chargemaster pan to the Entris pan which I have already zeroed out. As soon as I pour the powder into the Entris pan I place the Chargemaster pan back on the Chargemaster and it starts filling again. I then trickle up to my final weight with the Omega and then transfer the charge to the case and then place the pan back on the Entris. By that time the next charge is already to be transferred from the Chargemaster. It goes pretty fast for me. I haven't had any problems with the Omega except that sometime the kernels of H350 bunch up and I have to shake it a little which takes no time at all. I timed myself many time and have always come out faster that the Auto trickle in the video.
