Burris Signature Zee Rings

Have any of you tried using the Burris Signature Zee Rings on an F Class rifle? Can they take the recoil and still hold the scope in place when shooting .284 Win for 80 rounds a day?

I use Zee Rings on most of my rifles. They will definitely take the recoil of a .284 F Class; I shoot at least 80 rounds out of my .375 H&H when I go to the range, and haven't had any issue at all in over 20 years. I use them on my X-Course bolt gun in .308 with a 12X target scope when I shoot F-Class, no problems at all.

I used them for awhile on a muzzleloader that was about 25 pounds of free recoil, and slug guns over 35 lbs.

Your .284 will be just fine.

Saw an article on a 1,000 yard benchrest world record. Rifle had Burris Signature Zee Rings.

I have them in each and every one of my rifles other than my benchrest rifles (where I lap and epoxy bed my scopes in Harrell’s rings)

Not only will they hold. USE THE INSERTS TO HAVE YOUR RETICLE CENTERED IN SCOPE AT YOUR PREFERRED F CLASS YARDAGE!
My scope is centered (in its adjustments) at 1k yds, I used the rings to be 26" high at 100. Scope is clearest in the center. Might take a couple hours fiddling to do it, but you only gotta do it once.

The one caution I would offer is that the lowest of the 30mm rings has the cut for the clamping facility extending into the deepest part of the curve if the ring. In my case, carrying a Nightforce BR 8-32, both fractured, resulting in failure to hold a zero until I identified the issue & replaced them.

Burris did replace the mounts, but I opted for higher mounts with the replacements.

Another vote for these rings. Except for one .22 rimfire, I use them on all my centerfire rifles from a .17 Fireball to 28 Nosler. Also use them on the ones that kill on one end and maim on the other, a .45 smokeless muzzleloader and two slug guns,

I use them on a lot of rifles. I had issues with them allowing the scope to move in a 7 STW that had a very heavy scope mounted in the 30mm signature rings, this caliber has a very fast recoil impulse.

I went with Ken Ferrel rings and bases.

Often wondered why more if not all companies making rings don't have a similar model.

Best and most versatile idea around. No damage to the scope. Ability to lower the front of the scope for longer range or center or move left and right for mounting problems. Nothing quite like it with no apparent negatives.
