6 Dasher Load

My 6 Dasher powder load for years has been 32.4 gn of Varget using a 105 gn bullet. Historically, I just fine tune using a barrel tuner. Today, I loaded my same 32.4 gn of Varget and tried for the 1st time to shoot the Berger 6mm 115 gn Hunting Bullet....whoa. Stopped after aboout 10 rounds because my Bat bolt was not happy.
For now, my powder plan is to stay with Varget. Does anybody else have an experience shooting Varget in a 6 Dasher with a 115 gn bullet?

I d say try a grain lower and work up.

Theres a huge difference in 115 and a 105 bullet. I cant believe you got the bolt open without a hammer. Go 2gr down or more

Appreciate the input Dusty, will start at 30.2 gn. My next move will be to just stay with the 105 gn bullets.

Yea man just stick with 103-105
