I went with a well known Smith.
This June will be two years and No Rifle

That’s BS right there.... I would have picked it up after 6 months

I understand some guys are probably worth waiting on if you are trying to set a world record, but I think it’s good form to stop taking work if you’re that far out, or at least tell the customer straight up that it’s going to be 2 years.

I had faith in Him. He let me down. I am going to call and tell Him Ship me Everything for my job ….

I skipped the bra and went straight to the 6x47! Good luck. I hope it shoots!

First 6x47 lasted 1100 rounds … but it was a laser 105's at 3150fps (~40gr 4350)
Last couple of BRA's have lasted over 2200 rounds.... 105s at 3000fps (~31gr 4895)

The BRA is much easier to tune in my opinion.

What primer are you using for 31 gr of 4895? I'm getting pressure signs all the way down at 30.6 grains with hybrids and fed 205M.

I only use CCI450..... 30" Bartlien, BRA with .100 Freebore…. Hybrid 105 actually load is 30.9 (Berger 108's at the end of barrel life when the throat is eroded, but I have to use 30.3-30.6 of H4895)

I'm so glad I'm not the only nut up Ridgway...I'm tired of women & little kids beating my scores..I ordered a new custom BRX 4 next year...

Should have swapped guns with them for a match. What if it ain't the gun? Could have saved some money.

This saddens me for you. I use one of the best smiths in the country and got my last build back in 2 weeks.
