Anybody buy a lottery ticket?

1st your going to split the winnings with your wife....and the girl friend will be more. Another 10-20% for new guns, and private jet to all the tournaments. 1st class hotels and meals for you, friend & all the shooters. You will still need to do your own reloading or you just blame your shooting results on others.
Ben

Lotteries are the way politicians get money out of people that pay little to no taxes. Yeah, I bought some.

I can see this scenario happen to a lucky winner.
Him: "Hey honey, I hit the lottery! Pack your bags"!
Her: "That's fantastic. How much did we win and where are we going"?
Him: "We're not going anywhere, you are". :D

I bought $50 worth. I’m not usually a gambler, but geez...... a BILLION$$$$$$.
If I win, I’m Buying a thousand acres out west and building myself a 1000 yard range.
I’ll build a nice bunkhouse and anybody can come shoot for free!:):):):):):):):):):):)

Josh, If I hit, I'm building a 1000 yard INDOOR range and it'll be in a state where the left wing residents don't elect left wing dweebs and a state that respects the 2nd amendment.

He's some stats I read today:
Cash Option on $1B is $548 Mil
Taxes (averaged) 50% which leaves you at $225M or so
All winners are advised to hire lawyer($500/hr and financial manager(about 3.5%/yr) before claiming the prize
The winner will be hounded by thousands of "charities" and crackpots looking for a quick buck
I didn't buy a ticket because, with all the misery involved, I would likely win. :(

State of Delaware has a law that the winner of any lottery can remain anonymous. Taxwise, set up a trust and let the trust cash the ticket.

Oooh! I could make a deal with my Minister. Churches don’t pay taxes, right?:D

You could try but with all the info gathers around these days it would be futile. While you were teaching kids machining I was working on data centers. I’ve seen it.

Would hire a secretary to handle the calls and get the mail from the P.O. box the size of an outhouse:eek:Other duties would be to read mail and file it in 13 bin ( a converted silo). Also a few other “miscellaneous” Duties:)
