XCaliber vs The Other Barrel Makers

THE OLDER X-CALIBERS 2-3 YRS AGO WILL SHOOT WTH THE BEST OF THEM DONT KNOW HOW THEY ARE NOW

I have a 1-in-9 on a 223. I also have a Hawkeye and the barrel I have showed zero flaws. It was like looking down the bore of a "high end" barrel costing hundreds more. I have paid way more for barrels that didn't look anywhere near this good, they didn't shoot this good either.
This one really shoots as good as it looks. One thing though, it seemed to start to burn the throat pretty quick...I never overheated or otherwise abused it and I don't shoot "hot" loads. But, even with the very slight burn marks it still shoots lights out. I wouldn't hesitate to try another one.

I’ll echo the comments above. I have several X-Calibers and will not hesitate to purchase more. They frequently do sales as well which make them a steal. They’re as good as any other higher end button rifled barrel I’ve used.

X caliber barrel co. Is near my kids place in Montana, I've stopped by to look at there operation and discuss a barrel for my son in law, I would not hesitate to buy one of their products at all.
In fact they offered to have him bring the rifle down to the shop.
Nice people very friendly and dedicated to their products.

I've used quite a few over the last few years. They don't slug nearly as well as true top shelf barrels but I've never had one that didn't shoot quite well. Even for F Class level of accuracy they shoot very well and clean easy too.

How do XCaliber barrels measure up to the rest?

Bill

My .243 varmint barrel shoots good. It's not as good as my Krieger, but I don't expect it to be. I've shot plenty of 5 shot groups down in the .5 MOA area. It's a little harder to clean than my Krieger was and needs to be cleaned a little sooner.
