AI 308 flash suppressor installation

I had my barrel threaded for a SF SOCOM flash hider. It threaded on fine but at the end of its thread about an1/8 to 2/16 inch gap is left. Should I use a crush washer to take up space? I don’t need to time a flashhider and the can fits and works on it find but I don’t like the gap. I would think a crush washer would give enough reverse pressure to keep FS from turning (plus blue lock tight) I can’t be the only one with this problem..what’s the fix?

Sounds like there is an under cut or thread relief missing. Compare the print to what you actually received. Should be fairly easy to figure out. Good luck.:D:D
