flash suppressor

I am looking at buildinga custom flash suppressor. I want to make it as accurate as possible but safe. So how much larger do I make the inner diameter than the bullet .010 or is it the same size. I have access to a lathe.

Are you planning on turning a Sound Suppressor/Flash Suppressor or a Muzzle Brake??
Muzzle brake bore clearance should be .012"-.015".
A single point turned thread will improve alignment.

If you plan on chasing the barrel threads with a die & cutting the brake threads with a tap-you would be wise to seek profesional assistance.
