Front rest which one?

Would like to get one and not break the bank. Would like windage. Likely going to be used the most sighting and testing. And then by my 10 year old until she is large and strong enough to sling up.

I have a Caldwell BR. Use it as my general range rest and it works well. Decent adjustments and you can buy upgraded pads for it to fit your rifle's forearm. New, they are about $125 on Amazon, but can buy them used for less than $100 if you keep your eye out.

I use a bald eagle for comp. It may not be the best but bang for the buck going to be hard to beat.

Getting rid of the cable and making it direct drive is easy and very effective.

2X on the Sinclair for value. It has a little more footprint than a Caldwell. It also has the fine (smooth) windage adjustment. Be careful not to obtain a rest that is so heavy that the 300 and 500 yard relays in the Midrange Nationals need to be eliminated because your gear is too heavy to transport. Sorry, thats a different posting.
