New Pac nor 22-250 How far off the riflings to start

I got a new pac nor 1-12 twist barrel 26" long in 22-250 cal. and would like to know how far from the riflings to start. I'm using 55 gr. varmageddon tipped bullets. Using H380 powder

I would start at about 10 thousands off the lands. After load work up then adjust seating depth in or out
to fine tune your best load.

Start at a light jam- between jam and touch. That way you only need to go one way.

Ya know...that's a good idea...Less barrel wear that way too! I think I will start doing the same next time too. I been
doing things one way for so long it's time to try it this way and save some steps for sure.

If its a bench only rifle start at the hard jam. If its a hunting rifle start at touch so you can unload it
