Clean barrel as normal. Using Eliminator or wipe out first to get fairly clean. Then use IOSSO after to get stubborn spots out. Works very well. I do this every other cleaning. No issues
Thanks LJ, good read. I have a bottle of CLR, going to give it a try.

So CLR is considered a good carbon remover?I recently tried CLR for the first time, based on the advice of a nat'l team member.
Worked the first soaked patch though...it came out coal black...looked like a piece of carbon fiber material.....couple more patches, then a dozen strokes with a nylon brush, after a couple more patches, the next one stayed as white when I inserted it.
Nothing else I've used is even close to this stuff.

The regular version of CLR's MSDS lists lactic acid 12-18%, gluconic acid 2.50 -3.75, lauramine oxide 1.5-3.25%
