Looking for good starting point using RL15 with 105 gr. bullets.
You managed to get a good supply of Reloader mate??I'm running 30.4gr of RL15 - 30" Kreiger barrel, 5R, 1:8 twist. Averaging 2970fps with 103gr Copperhead bullets (similar to the Vapor Trail I believe). I'd start at 30gr and work up in .2gr increments. 30.6gr netted me an average speed of 2990 so that's 20fps with just a .2 change. ES and SD started to open up too at this point but was single digit with the 30.4 load. No pressure with this load either, cases and primers are falling out of the chamber very happy.

That's what I kinda thought I think that will work.32.3 of RL-15 works for me.... jim

I’m also a RL15 fan...looking at Berger 109 to try maybe....any thoughtsLooking for good starting point using RL15 with 105 gr. bullets.
Rarely shoot above 90....think I’ll go with it and 108’s,,,thanksI have always had good luck with R15 in dashers and BRAs. I found it to make smaller groups and faster than Varget, 4350, or 4895, only problem is once the temp goes past 90 pressure jumps fast. If you are running a near max load you can get in trouble fast... John
Just tried some 109s with Reloder 15 . Most accurate load was a slow 2700, 28.3 grains . Max is 29.3 . Went all the way to 29.3 but best load was at 28.3.I’m also a RL15 fan...looking at Berger 109 to try maybe....any thoughts
