Wife purchased a Ultra sonic Cleaner from Harbor Freight for Fathers day it seems like a nice unit BUTT there is no basket just a plain tray,

Has anyone run in to the same issue and found a basket that will suffice ?

Testing will indicate whether there’s an effectiveness difference between a tray and a basket... but I do recommend not placing items directly on the tank bottom as it will likely cause premature transducer failure.

Mine came with a white plastic strainer that had sides about quarter inch tall. Pretty useless unless you like picking up brass off the floor. I just unplug and pour the dirty solution down the sink with a strainer basket. I use a solution of simple green and vinegar with a dab of dish soap. Cleans real well and I can rinse them off in the sink.
