6BR Powders

i will soon be shooting a newly chambered in 6BR, a Bartlein 4 groove, 14 twist, 23 inch barrel. this will be for 65 gn an 68 gr bullets, Bergers to start with. the rifle is for fun bughole making at 100 to 200 yds. not going to compete with it.

I have been told that LT-32 is the Mutt's Nutts for this application. will be getting some soon. meanwhile, I have the following powders on hand to try:

1) RE 15
2) Varget
3) H4895
4) N 135
5) IMR 8208 XBR
6) RE 7

which of these listed should i prioritize?. a couple of load suggestions would also be helpful. i have shot a lot of 8 twist 6BR stuff, but this is my first foray into the slow twist, light bullets regime

8208 XBR shot lights out in my 6BR until I couldn't get any more and went with LT-32. LT-32 still shoots better than I ever will, using Bart's 68BTs, and I have enough to last for a couple new barrels when the time comes!

Try the N-135 it a great powder for light bullets

I use N-135 in my 6 BR 14 twist shooting 65 grain V-Max’s! It’s virtually a match made in heaven.

N-150 was the Winner in my BR with 107’s.

VV 135 with Fed match primers and 8208XBR are my go to powders for slow twist and light bullets. Get a little faster velocity with 135. Accuracy the same.

Good equipment, for kicks try some Precision Ballistic bullets.

I want to try N150 for 6Br and heavy bullets.
