2018 SIERRA CUP 600yd Fclass/prone ENTRY.... RESULTS

I’m telling ya skip, this weather forecast stuff don’t work around here... You guys might get some good no wind zeros Friday evening and that may be the best part of the deal. It’s all fun and we will enjoy every minute! This match has always been a one and only with the 4 disciplines and now Joe has incorporated team into the program! Pretty exciting stuff!

Mike, I liked the format that Joe put together, one of the big reasons my brother and I decided to make this match.

I had honor to score in team match with aka falconpiolt. Very impressive to watch and score his targets today. Congrats to all Teams as it was a tough match. Hats off to all volunteers and Joe for all their hard work.

Guys from Iowa

Thank you to Joe and all the sponsors for a great match! Congratulations to to Richard, Brian and Joe! Also let’s not forget those FTR guys Lou, Greg and Ryan! Great shooting guys!
Kevin

Joe, once again a great match. Thanks for all the hard work and effort you and your support cast puts into this weekend. Thanks to Sierra not only for the sponsorship of this match but for what they do for our sport and the shooting community!
I want to give a special shout out to my close friend and Indiana shooting team member Lou Casale for the clinic he put on this weekend. Lou and I started in this sport at the same time and share the same passion for the fun we all have doing what we do. To see someone close to you excel the way he did this weekend feels as good as winning a match! On another thread Immike made a comment of how humble Lou was all weekend. Lou is an asset to our sport and an ambassador of sportsmanship! In the spirit of Memorial Day I'm going to share an example of Lou's humbleness that only the closest to him really know (until now) Lou served our country and retired from the Air Force. His last 4 years of duty he spent flying Air Force 2. He flew many of our countries leaders in the Bush Chaney administration all over the world. If we weren't close friends and neighbors I would not know this fact as he is one of the most humble people I know. Great job this weekend brother but more importantly Thank you for your service!!

I too would like to thank Joe and his crew on a match that almost felt like being at the Nationals! Many thanks to all the sponsors also especially Sierra Bullets!

I'm extremely proud and lucky to part of a group of guys that make up Team Indiana! And witness, what I think was history in the making of the performance of Lou this weekend at the Sierra cup! I'm damn glad that he's on our team too!

I must also say, that the entire cast of shooters this weekend was pulling and cheering for Lou! That tell's you all you need to know about the people in our sport!

I especially have to shout out to the Texas boy's and Arkies that we're cheering for Lou!

Thanks,
Mike Plunkett

thanks to all who came out to shoot the match. I hope everyone had a good time. this was our first attempt at doing a team match, and I think we pulled it off. a lot of people haven't tried team shooting, so I hope this gave some a taste of it, and a desire to do more.

thanks to those that helped with the match:
Dave Lingle - Line officer
Patti Johnson - stat officer
the Greer family - Justus, and Chad in the pits... Travis running everywhere!
ladies in the kitchen, Tammy and Vera.....
without these folks, the match would not run as near as smoothly as it did.

thanks to our sponsors:
Sierra Bullets
Bartlien Barrels
21st Century Shooting
Hodgdon
Midwest welding
Starline Brass
Graf and Sons
Apha Munitions
McGee Stocks
Mcmillan Fiberglass stocks
Alex Muller(Nando-AS)
I hope I didn't forget any.

attached are the scores from the match.
if anyone has some pics from the match, could you post some?
