Waiting a year to recognize a record? Wow I could see maybe 6 months but a year. Okay thats the NRA.
Does shooting on an electronic Target VS Paper with puller make any difference to the NRA for setting records?
I set it last year at Red Wing with a 600 49X at the regional match! Before that Dwayne Draggoo had it with a 600 42x
FYI, Steve shot so fast a few of thought someone was cross firing on his target.
That is excellent shooting !
But I do not see how a record on an electronic target can be held to the same standard as one shot on paper with the built in delay and dependency of having a good or mediocre target puller. If the electronic targets used at that match allowed for firing as fast as you can work the bolt/trigger, then wouldn't that be a BR match?

I guess that depends on how fast the BR guys fire. Steve is a BR guy and an F-Open guy. Would firing 2 sighters and 20 rounds for record in 4 minutes be too fast? Because that's how fast it was, and he wasn't the only one firing that fast. It comes out to roughly 11 seconds per round.
So what does that mean? He broke the rules? Should have bs-ed with his buddy between shots? What?FYI, Steve shot so fast a few of thought someone was cross firing on his target.
