L.E. Wilson - thumbs up

Every now and then, I come across a company that has superior products, replacement parts,
fantastic customer service, reliable information / problem solving & quick shipping - as they promise.
L.E. Wilson is one of those. And always friendly.

So what was it that was so good it made you post about it?

ah, right. I have an LE Wilson 220 Swift bullet seater die - the fired case would not fully seat into the die after being sized - this was due to my rifle chamber being a bit oversized. The case "protruded" about .003 when inserted into the die after sizing. I called, spoke with a person (not voicemail) who understood the issue, suggested I send on with $9.00 payment for shipping- they would open the die, polish & ship back - for cost of shipping. 1 person - prob solved. Had die back in a week. "problem" solved. Also - L.E. Wilson makes great f/l bushing sizing dies- I now have a few.

also, had a question / problem about my L.E. Wilson trimmer replacement cutterhead so I called & left voicemail.
I had determined in the interim problem was "user error" - me.
I called Friday and they returned my call Monday @ 7:30 a.m. their time...and learned some great tips & info, as usual.

Let me add something to what I said earlier about L.E. Wilson. I said they have always been there when I needed them. In 2001, I conducted the NBRSA Benchrest School at Holton. After about a month of gathering and chronicling the receipt of several prizes, CEO Jon Morrison called me and said I had not contacted him yet and wondered if there was a problem with communications with them. Sheepishly, I told him I had forgotten to contact L.E.Wilson. They sent certificates for three custom micrometer dies in the calibers of the winners' choice. When I conducted the IBS Benchrest school at Tawas in 2008 you can guess who was first on my list of companies to contact. And, it was Jon Morrison who answered the call again.

My grandfather and father bought from them in the 1980's. I carry on the tradition and our daughters will to, carry on the tradition of buying from LE Wilson. LE Wilson is a staple in our family and always will be. I have never in my life heard anything bad about LE Wilson. This is a company that supports our countries economy, not GM, not APPLE, not HOMEDEPOT! The mom and dad shops that are passed on from parents to children to grandchildren.
