even with small calibers on light rifles breaks will let you see your own helicopters in the dog town.
take the break off and put on a thread cap or a tuner for on the line.
just remove it during comp. and install when blasting vermin,,,,RogerWell I was going to shoot it on a dog town too, and thought it would be cool to cut out any recoil.
Good answer. IME- no chambering is too small for a brake in a dog town. I have brakes on two 223AI and a good friend has one on a 204 Ruger. Both are noticeably effective. OTOH-you won't make friends at a range. As has been said, illegal in IBS & NBRSA, but tolerated in UBR. I think in seven years of matches I've only seen 2-3. Get one for the dog towns but leave it off if you compete.
your gun will tell you the answer to that question,,,,RogerDon't you have to retune the load?
Possibly, but I don't compete with the same rifles I take into dog towns. I doubt the tune would change all that much but the POI will. It shouldn't be a problem. I have to make adjustments every time I compete.Don't you have to retune the load?
