Bullets.com/Grizzly Tool raises reamer prices from $159 to $199

shipping and business gets more and more expensive. Prices go up no biggie reamers have been around the 140-160 mark for over a decade. it's about time.

Why do we complain about price price price! then we complain about quality quality quality????

I for one think things are getting to cheap anymore honestly. I am sick of seeing quality guns in the classifieds for less than 50% of the cost of a new one. it's weird. Now I am equally sick of the ones people over price too, but that is a different story.

probably making up for the sale they had on Berger bullets the other day..one hellava good price

I notice most of their brass is on close out as well. Whats going on? I sure hope they still plan on stocking that stuff. They have the best prices around on components and reasonable shipping. As far as reamers go I noticed about 6 months ago reamers on Midway went up considerably as well. I figured it was only a matter of time before they went up elsewhere.

It seems the prices for reamers are going up across the board. That indicates to me that the suppliers are potentially the ones increasing the cost and not the outlets.

I'm sure that's it. I've already gotten used to $200 plus from the good grinders. I wondered how long Grizzly could keep the $150-ish prices.

Rising prices eventually must be passed along to the consumer. With national debt doubling every 8 years it will accelerate.Reality can be hidden for a while , but not forever.

Maybe we can just do like Snickers. The Snickers bar lost 28% of it's weight from 2014 to 2018, but the price stayed the same. Maybe the reamer companies can cut a 223 reamer when we need a 30 06 reamer and leave the price the same.

I can tell you I’m charging a good bit more these days as a truck owner operator. Lots of industries are doing very well so supply is getting tight and supporting higher prices. My higher shipping rates are now going into the costs of products. Prices are going up across the board as supplies and available capacity is utilized. I can certainly see the price of reamers being driven by constrained capacity and increasing steel and labor costs. I’m super happy that there is finally some pricing strength in industry. Inflation is also reducing my fixed interest loan payments in real dollars. Maybe the virtuous economic cycle is beginning to function again. With some pricing strength driving profits maybe some of the reamer makers will invest in machines and labor and cut the lead time to get a reamer. It’s a good thing that prices are raising and there’s moderate inflation.

So depressing. Especially for those of us with young kids.

Oh well, let’s go burn some powder and support small businesses in the USA.
