There is a man who makes carbon fiber shields, in colors. Searched alot of sites but I still can't find it.
Anybody else know where that is??

You'll have to ask if he still makes them in various colors - he may have stopped making them in various colors.
Has anyone tried what Tony Boyer said he uses in his book? He cuts 3in.strips 18ins. long from exray or in my case I'll use MRI film?View attachment 1033357 I use 3.5” wide aluminum vertical bind material. It comes in 6 foot lengths. I use 2 lengths. For good weather one is short to fit from the muzzle to just past the front of the scope. For rainy conditions I use a long piece to go from the muzzle back to the front of the action. This keeps the water out of the forend channel and action since I use a transparent plastic sheet over my scope and action.
I also turn the slight curve upward in good conditions and downward in rainy ones to drain the water off to either side of the stock
