20 Dasher starting loads please

I have varget, re 15 and H4895. Anyone have any load data for the 55gn berger in the dasher or an opinion from experience on these powder choices?

Your choices are on the fast side IMHO. I would start with H4350 and work slower.

I've used N-550 and N-560 in mine with the 55s in the past,starting to prefer powders that are more temp insensitive.I think I will try H-4350
when I find some more.Accuracy is good with the VV powders,gotta watch it when in the dog patch with preloaded rounds when it gets hot.Kinda waiting for a 50 grain poly tipped bullet for this rifle/cartridge combo.
Usually use one of my 20Dusters on pds
I started with 35.0 and got up to 37.0,settling on 36.0 of N-550 for 3750fps with the 55

RL15 worked awesome in my 20 Nitro which is a version of the 20 Dasher. H4350 was slow velocity wise. I know alot guys around me use H4895 in there 6 dasher so might be worth a shot.

how do you think 30gns sounds as starting load?
Or should I just try find 20 br data and use the 20 br max as the starting load for the dasher?

I would start down around 29.5 with RL 15, I'm always on the conservative side when doing load development my nitro is different that a 20Dasher although not much just work up slow.

3400-3450 with reloader 15. using 30 grains and seem to show pressure signs. pulling hair out. My 20 Titan shot faster with less case capacity. Im working on a 20 BRDX and with the fire form loads it is shooting 3550. But all of these are using Laura Brass. Not sure if that could be the problem or may have gotten a slow barrel for once.

That does seem slow i'm running a little over 31 gr. of RE15 at 3750 with the 55"s I never have ran up to pressure signs with it just shot so well i left it there. I did run some custom 48's up to 4050 a few weeks ago they shot really well there but I started showing some extractor marks so im gonna have to back down around the 3900 range it will never handle that in the summer. I also am using 6BR Lapua brass.

That 20BRDX sounds like fun.I have always used Lapua with my wildcats.thats kinda how I decide what to build,I look at whats avaialable in Lapua.I stopped at 3750fps with the 20Dasher because the accuracy was there and I didnt want to get too crazy with the N-550 as it is sensitive to temperature.I look forward to trying Rel 15 when the weather is better.
