Loads with N160

Anyone have any starting or good loads for N160 and the 180g bullets in a .284 Win?

I want to give it a try and I have a new barrel to break in. I have a .255 freebore with this Fclass rifle and plan to try 180g Scenars or ELD-M bullets in it.

Any loads or experiences are appreciated.

53 -55 grains but that was in a Shehane, I think I would be looking at similar low loads of H4350 and working up.

54 gr N-160 = 106% case fill (not compressed but close), 2,798 fps, 61,276 psi, 30" bbl, 3.150" coal.

Thanks to all that have replied. I have loaded up some loads to try to see if I can get them shoot. I loaded up to 54.2g to see if I find pressure. Hopefully I will find something that shoots well for me. I will report back after I get the chance to get out and shoot.

Update:

I shot today with 180g Scenars and N160. I started at 52.8g and went up to 54g. Labradar results were as follows:

52.8g - 2771 fps with spread of 15 for the three shots, group was 1.3" at 300 yards
53.1g - 2778 fps with spread of 4 for the three shots, group was 0.8" at 300 yards
53.4g - 2783 fps with spread of 10 for the three shots, group was 1.2" at 300 yards
53.7g - 2797 fps with spread of 3 for the three shots, group was 0.7" at 300 yards
54.0g - 2809 fps with spread of 3 for the three shots, group was 1.6" at 300 yards

54g was the max for my rifle. I plan to load up more at 53.5g and shoot some more groups working on seating depth. It was 23 degrees during this test and there was some barrel heat mirage to fight through, but overall, I am happy with the results.

54.7g v160 with wolf primers works for me but I did have more room as I throated out my Barrle to keep off the donut,try 20th off they like to jump good luck

11 feet per second off predicted isn't too shabby!!!
