I just finished the report for that match for publication on the IBS page on this site. As part of my research, I routinely interview shooters who finished at or near the top. From those conversations I can tell you that conditions were reported as horrible due to the wind, both velocity and unpredictability. This was not a good match to make comparisons between different case designs.
James I spoke with the fellows that finished at the top. Conditions were that bad. A lot of good shooters DQed (failed to hit a target with one or more shots)Boyd, you are very correct about the conditions. I talked to Bart and he said that he was doing well in the 2-gun after finishing 9th in the LG. However, on his last target in the HG, he did not have a scoreable shot. He told me that he had made an adjustment but still missed the target every shot. He does not know if he turned the scope the wrong way, or the conditions were THAT bad, or the scope went sour. James
Scopes don't go sour, he probably had the wrong rings on it
Tom
Oh young Padawan, you have so much to learn! You havent lived until you've had a scope take a dump at a shoot! But in this case the scope was just fine. I shot it at home and no issues. Somehow I managed to screw the pooch! Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory!
Tom show me the picture! You know the one!

That's the one!!!!
I know if I am ever lucky enough to have this much success with another case I sure wont be nice enough to give away the prints and load data. If people are going to imply I am pushing something to line my pockets, I might as well keep it secret and line my pockets.
