Jackets for making 105 gr VLD style bullets

I am now learning how to make bullets with my mentor ,
i have made 30 BR bullets and 6 PPC bullets and having alot of fun doing it and tons of fun shooting them.

I am now venturing into making 105 VLD bullets.

question i have is what length J4 jackets will i need to order to make 105gr VLD type bullets?
berger list different lengths of jackets;
a:1.050
b:1.150
c: 0.900
i would appreciate if any members who make the 105 gr VLD type, letting me know what length jacket i will need to buy.

I've never made my own bullets, but I'm sure the length of the bullet would be a good indicator of which jacket you need.

There are many lengths of 105 VLD type bullets depending on manufacture. I bet the die you use to make the bullets has more to do with what length jacket you need than bullet weight does. Ask the die manufacturer?

For 105 VLD You will need a 1.150 jacket. If you have difficulty getting jackets from J4. You can also try Sierra they use a 1.140 or Hines Precision Jacket they make 1.150
