Gardner Bullet Jackets and Malsby bullets
Howdy all,
I put this on the market board and it should have gone here.
I have a line on @ 23,000 gardner .825" 6mm jackets. These are old, but in good shape. Is there any interest for these in the BR world now, or has technology of the J4 jacket and new Hornady offerings made these all but obsolete?
I've priced the J4's and sierra offerings. WOW! Any idea what these would go for? I'm not a BRster, but own several .243/ 6mm's. I'm toying with trying my hand at bullet making, more for hobby than competition.
Also, i have an opportunity at @ 1k of JC Malsby's bullets. 62.5 gr. 6mm. @ 20-30 yrs ago they were 9.95/hundred. As an obsolete (ie, not currently being offered (afaik) product) Is there any interest in these? I would probably be set if I just bought these for plinking, and varmint shooting, as compared to going whole hog on the makings route.
I appreciate any input/info.
Gary
