I had a problem with a Sinclair branded product this past weekend . It's the second time I have had the same problem,it also happened several months ago. I contacted Brownells Monday inquiring about purchasing parts to repair it. Today I received a new one at no charge. Not what I expected but appreciated. My hat is of too their customer service. If they will just put a Precision Shooters catalog out, I will no longer be sad Sinclair sold out.:)

I order quite a bit of stuff from them. Never had any product problems. What I don't like with them is...Say you place an order, hang up and then instantly remember you forgot one item. Call them back right away and order the item you forgot. They say they can't add it to the first order and thus charge you another shipping charge! I could see if you waited until later on in the day or the next day.

It has been a while since I have bought from Sinclair but I have been dealing with them for 25 years and they have always been first class. I will always remember a fellow by the name Bob as he was the nicest most helpful person I have ever met.

Cancel the order and then reorder it.:D

The best way to add to a order is like above cancel and reorder. works every time..

I wish i had that response from them!

I recently placed an order with Brownells NOV 2017- and it has been everything but a good experience. The ZP code was wrong on the package and it was (after the post office shipped it all over ohio) returned to them, Brownells.
I have called their customer care number three times now, and chatted with four different people. (7 contacts total) and all i get when i tell the customer reps the package was returned to them - they say they have to send to their SUPPORT team and i end up on hold for long period, with no one answering the hold for 10 mins or more each time. I have given up on trying to get any help from them.
Has anyone else had this type of treatment from them?
My last contact was an email to the "orders" dept asking them to either ship me the order (after correcting the zip) or just return my money. NOTHING - Nothing by email or phone

"IF" they get back with me - i will post the results - Right now i would not recomend purchasing anything from them.

The ORDER# was 14904161 if anyone from Brownells wants to respond.

SORRY

SORRY
I have not. I've bought thousands of $ of merchandise from them in the last 16 years and never had a problem whether ordering via phone or on-line. Oh, and I don't miss them sending out their catalogs.......the eye candy is too tempting, and I've saved a bunch of money since.

Brownells is my favorite shooting supplier. Around 100 orders and probably four to five returns, zero drama. The only thing I don’t like is they seem to be strictly bankers hours, so sometimes if you order something on a Friday it’s gonna ship Monday, and if you live far from them like I do it could be 10 calendar days between the order and delivery on something that was in stock, but that was understood before I made the orders. My experience is they have been a great company to deal with. Great online tutorials and telephone guntechs also.

Sinclair stuff is the high end of the high end, you should not be getting stuff that has broken twice in 2 months. You should be getting a product that will still be working for your grand kids. They should be doing better and should not be wasting time trying to get something that works.

I've been doing business with Brownells since the mid-70s. Not huge volume, but fairly consistent. Their customer service has definitely changed since when Bob and Frank were running things - and not for the better. Shipping charges have also become usurious, IMHO. I suppose it had to happen as they transitioned into the corporation that they are today, but I do miss 'the good old days.'

If I need a small order from Brownells I call my local gunsmith and have him add it to one of his orders. That keeps small parts from becoming expensive due to shipping costs.

Most likely they can't add to an order is the software they are using. The programmers who wrote the software never considered people might want to add to an existing order. Not really Brownells fault. As was said, cancel and re-order.
