Shooting P Dogs

Thought I would post a picture of the Mac Daddy set up my buddy had for shooting prairie dog's here in Colorado. We get out at least twice a month and usually get between 60 and 100 each time.

That is one heck of a shooting table! Must have started life as something else, maybe an engine rebuild stand?

How much movement do you get from the truck suspension? Especially when the wind is blowing. Because it sure can blow on the eastern plains.

It was built from the ground up for shooting dogs. No movement at all in the wind.

Same here in Wyoming. But in 60 plus years of Pdawg blastin I have yet to see a warden or sheriff in the field.. Only ocassionsally run across em during Big Game season

Do they have an exception for PD? I know a few states do.

I have been harassed by Colorado DOW for shooting PDogs from a trailer hooked up to my truck. They consider that shooting from a motor vehicle even though it doesn't have a motor.And on private property they aren't game animals in Colorado.Best to shoot this way a long way from a public road.Bravastar1 looks safe from this in his picture. It also depends on how many tree huggers call the DOW to rat on you. The cattle ranchers love us though!
