Well, I started with this:

130 Berger VLD seated about this much in the lands at 2.735" OAL to start load work:

I don't think there's a better place to start, that VR is bad Azzz. The ignition system is as good as it gets along with the small pin it's a perfect fit. I went with more FB, but i only run 140's.

I feel the 47 is better suited for 123/130 range of bullets, unless you run a looong barrel...o_O

Time for load work....

I knew out of the gate that I wanted to shoot Berger 130 VLD's, and based on past experience with the 47, Varget was the powder of choice. However, the barrel is always boss.

I was not to be disappointed........

Naturally, I had a nasty little crosswind to deal with that day. I walked the target out to 200 yards, set up the Ohler, and proceeded to shoot 3 shot groups round robin in half grain increments:

My first 6.5x47 had a .110 FB and shot the 130 vlds great with 40.8 of h4350 put 600 rds through it then sold it.Waiting on Josh at PVA to get my next one spun up went with .175 fb on it.

I think the 90-110 is ideal for the 123/130 range. You must be planning on 140's on the new rig.

Yes Sir...it's finished at 28" went with a bartlein 5r MTU sitting in a manners t4 mini chassis fed by a BigHorn tl3.

Found two nodes......

38 grains had an ES of 3

39.5 grains had an ES of 7.

Next up.....showdown betwixt the two......

I really like the 130 VLD best also,,I run them on the 3,000 fps node also but use H4350 and WSR primers,,

I loaded up 20 of each, and gave them a go at 100-200-300-400. Virtual tie that day, each "winning" 2 yardages, in less than ideal winds.

Went out several days later in better testing conditions.

38 grains:

200).560"
300).820"
400)3.100"
500)3.350"

39.5 grains:

200)1.230"
300)1.870"
400)1.180"
500)1.465"
