Experiences with chambered Wilson dies

Hi all, for those that have chambered their Wilson neck sizer and Wilson seater using the same reamer as the one used to chamber the barrel:
What is your experience with it?
Runout?
Fired brass fit in the dies?

I've had/used their die blanks(NS/seater) chambered from reamers in 6XC and 6.5wssm. Works great in every respect.
Keep in mind that these are not for body sizing. You don't body size/bump with an arbor press, but with a threaded die/press.

My reloading process with these is 4 stages.
1. Body size/bump with a Redding body die(which I have custom fitted from fired brass)
2. Bushing neck size with chambered Wilson
3. Pre-seating with Sinclair expander mandrel
4. Bullet seating with chambered Wilson

That's 2 operations with a threaded press, and 2 operations with an arbor press.

Thanks MikeCr. That is exactly the knowledge that I was seeking. Have you made any runout measurements in finished ammo?

Who did your body/size die fitting?

My loaded runout is always maintained below 1thou TIR at exposed bullet bearing(measured with Sinclair v-block). This, with cases culled by thickness variance and necks turned. This is just my standard for ammo, regardless of cartridge/sizing plan.
The bodies of my 6.5wssm are not sized but slightly squeezed while shoulders are bumped 1thou.

My Redding body dies have been fitted by JLC Precision. I send Jim fire-formed cases, of which sized 1thou under suites my plan. That is, squeezed down 2thou & springing back 1thou. That's what he does.
So for the 6.5wssm, I sent him over pressured(interference fit) cases to get exactly what I have.

Works great. Of course runout will depend on how good a job your smith does on the die. If its chucked up true on a high quality lathe, the result should be a high quality seating die that matches your chamber perfectly with runout that isn't even worth measuring.

Whidden can also make you a custom threaded adjustable seater die for a reasonable price that will seat bullets as well as any arbor die.
