When resizing 220 swift Winchester brass, using one shot spray, it takes 2 hands on the press. It is very hard! Any suggestions?
Try some RCBS case lube,on a pad. I have had no problem. Been loading a Swit since 1966. Tommy Mc..When resizing 220 swift Winchester brass, using one shot spray, it takes 2 hands on the press. It is very hard! Any suggestions?
Try Hornady Unique case lube. It comes in a tub, it's waxy and you apply it with your fingers. A little goes a long way and I've used it for years with great results. It wipes off easily, too.In the past when I have used the lube pads, I have had a lot of dents from too much lube. My hands are not very dexterous, it hard for me to use a pad. But it looks like I will have to use the pad. I was hoping for an alternative.
Use imperial sizing lube /wax if having that much of a problem .
12:1 ratio of 99% alcohol mixed with pure lanolin.
It's the best case lube I have ever used.
I use the same 12:1 ratio but use Iso Heet instead. It makes sizing so easy. Case dents from sizing just don't happen with this lube.
Imperial also works good, but if you are doing a lot of sizing, it is really slow.
