What rest are you using

I just started shooting ARA 22rf benchrest and I am using my Sinclair competition rest with a Shade tree top and Edgewood 3" front bag and Minigator rear bag.
I see most shooters using a one piece rest just curious as to what you are using.

Copy what the winners are doing. Easiest path to success???
There's a LOT of shooters using what the winners are using. That doesn't make them the Winners. PRACTICE, PRACTICE,PRACTICE!!! Spend $$ on more ammo. No need to chase the winners equipment list. All it will do is make you tired.o_O
My Sinclair Compitition Shooting rest works fine for all my shooting.:D

I use a Hall one piece.

JJ Loh.....Ran both it & the Seb Neo. Still have the JJ Loh for my short range & a Viper custom for 1000yd BR.........;)

Pappas one piece for unlimited.
A good joystick rest or a heavy rest with moveable top and speed screw for elevation. Good fitting rear bag for two piece.
I shoot ARA and it is nice when the rest tracks well from bull to bull.
Also, the one piece rests have different top options: sandbag, roller bearing, or Delrin. 95% of the shooters in unlimited use a one piece rest that I have seen.
Wolfdawg

ARA I use an Pappas 1 pc rest, Cliff Arnold from Arnold Machine & Tool makes an amazing rest to the next level. That will be my next one. I have 3 years in ARA and in this game to be competitive your equipment needs to be the best you can afford. Wind flags and practice. Highly recommend the Nationals in St Louis you will meet the top shooters and have a blast.

I've used a papas for 15 years, it's still holding up. My other option is the Ron Hoen BR 50 top with delrin balls spring loaded on one side, and windage adjustable. It returns to battery better than any other two peice rest top I've ever used.

You cant go wrong with the Sinclair Competition rest. (use for for 1,000 K BR )
I finally upgraded three years ago to the Seb Neo...love it.( use for for IR -50, 100-300 yd BR)
As I tell guys...buy your gun then buy the equipment that surrounds your gun. Quit buying extra guns till you have the equipment...Rest,rear bag, flags, scope, spotting scope

I use a Randolph one piece with the adjustable top....it does very well for me.

I have a Bald Eagle that I use with a rear bag. I also have an old aluminum Bald Eagle I picked up from a fellow who is no longer shooting. The top on that rest has a top that will adjust to whatever width the forend of the rifle has. It's rough, but great when shooting sporter rifles.

For a one piece, I have an Arnold. It's nice, but I will replace it at some point with a Randolph as I like the horizontal adjustment better.
