Had an early day yesterday and like any self respecting Chucker I took advantage of it! I went to a farm that I will lose shortly due to the corn and it worked out well. No long range shooting, 255 yards the longest and most were 200-240, and all were standing from the Bog Pod. I also walked to within 30 yards of 4 buck and a doe. I was like "Indian underwear", always creeping up on you! Also had a large swarm of honeybees in a the tree I selected as my stand so I made the decision to move to another 15 yards away. The farmer has been following them and was glad to hear they were still there. The 5X45AI performed admirably and the only miss came when I dialed in the difference between the 39's and 55's the wrong direction, dooh! Brings me too 42 so far as the weather has put a damper on getting out much. Sounds like it will finally warm up/dry out now. This one has an eye out for you Snert!
