Me and dad got out for a couple hours again yesterday. The fields were high and needed cutting but we managed a few shots.

Here is my 79 year old dad with one that he zapped with his 22-250 on this second trip out. He has been hunting this same area since the early 1960's.

Gotta love the .22-250 also,that's great that you and Dad can still enjoy the same place still after all these years.

What 22-250 does your dad tote?

He uses a Ruger, it was the first year of the Laminate stock varmint/target model. It had the black cm receiver and stainless barrel and a horrible trigger.
He still manages to do ok even with that terrible trigger!
