2017 F-Class Match Schedule - Bucksnort Shooting Club: Marshall, MO

Twice, but thanks for reminding me.

You used to win too ya know. :D

It's getting rough out there keeping up with so many doing so well. I think Joe Meyer is our F-open anchor this year for Missouri. He's on a roll with a good load it looks like. Me, I'm trying a new bullet again but will give it my best to fight the big boys. Gonna be a battle at this one!!

PS: hope you win your 3rd this year! Good luck to you.

You all are just lucky I am still on "leave"...lol...Hope to make it out there one of these days. The state match will not happen for me this year. I really miss being on the line with you all.

Yeah, peer pressure made him give in and send the entry to Ryan........:D

Where are you staying? Just in case the rest of us need to hire someone to "slow you down" a bit on Sunday ;). Pretty sure Tonya Harding doesn't currently have a steady gig.

Edited to add:
Got out today for a little practice with the .223, same load as last year, these were rounds I had loaded for the recent Sierra Cup but didn't use. I needed to get all the brass fired so I can load up for the upcoming MO State match. Conditions were very benign, similar to those we saw for fair stretches of time on Saturday last year. These are 18" Shoot-N-C targets set up at 620 yd; inner scratched ring is 3", outer is 6", to mimic the 600 "X" and "10" rings. I think the load still seems to be working. I hope the conditions this year are similar ;).

Holy crap Batman! With score's like that with a .223... Maybe we need to get someone to slow you down Greg! lol

Anyone else staying at the Comfort inn in Marshall?

Greg is definately the one needing the Tonya Harding treatment! Might have to pull out my old set of golf clubs that been in the closet collecting dust for years, one good tee shot to the knee cap with my driver or 3 wood should do the trick!.......:D:p

As for the Comfort Inn in Marshall, everyone i talked to is staying there. Look forward to seeing everyone, have a safe trip in!........

Yep. Comfort Inn's the place to be. Everyone remember to request early breakfast at the hotel if you can. They normally serve breakfast a little too late for those going to the match, but served early at 5:30 am last year once enough folks requested it.

As has been noted already, this is going to be a great match! Whomever rises to the top is really going to have to work for it with this crowd, I'm sure. In any event, I wouldn't waste your time bringing the 3-wood Jade...don't need my knees to lie down and shoot. It might slow up your pit service a bit if we're squadded together, though ;). Besides, the rifle I was shooting yesterday is the backup gun for MO and likely won't even get fired.

Everyone traveling, journey safe! Regardless of the match results, I'm just really looking forward to seeing everyone and having fun.

I'm going to shoot a new lot of 200's this afternoon. If they don't shoot like the old lot I'm breaking the pea shooter back out. It's fun to shoot but neck turning and only getting 3-4 firings sucks.

#1.....Don't neck turn.

#2.....Slow that nuclear load down......:p
