Got drawn for my first New Mexico deer hunt.. Any advice?

I'm an old trapper. The animals are where the food is, exception being breeding season. They eat, sleep and multiply. It's really as simple as that.

Still waiting for the update? You came in here asking for help, would be nice to hear the outcome and if you used any of the info provided here or did you go your own route? Prolly the main reason i don't post or give help, most folks just want what they want and do not participate in the forum after they have received the info they were looking for.
