2017 F-Class Match Schedule - Bucksnort Shooting Club: Marshall, MO

Congrats to James Laney who dominated the match winning both days and overall by 6 points and 19x with 1585-93x.
I understand the Arkansas f-class factory will be reinforcing by sending more Ducks to Cluster on the line for the MO state match. It's not going to get easier, unless the wind returns to normal.

Thank you to Ryan, Michelle, Travis, and Mike for putting on an awesome match. Again fish frogs and friends like no other match. Mike's bean soup may have been an omen for increased wind this weekend.

Cristofer and Scott did an awesome job running an efficient and safe line.

Thank you Tommy Todd and others from Sierra Bullets for your generous donations to the prize table.

Congrats to my team mate and good friend James Laney...Looks like Snookie and BB made a good run at the end but came up a little short. Good job men.

Mike Allen...This guy has put in the work....He shot his first FTR match last year and maybe had 4-5 matches under his belt total. He checks his ego at the door and is open minded when someone gives him advice. He has worked on his loads and shooting skills on his home range and it paid off for his first "big match". Keep digging Mike, you beat some darn good FTR shooters this weekend,,trust me it's tough out there. lol Good job bud.

I would like to thank everyone that was involved in putting the shoot on.
A very nice range and a well ran match.
Thank you Sierra and Mike for your support, even though I didn't win
any badly needed Sierra bullets! LOL

The Sierra 107's I shoot, shoots very well. Just needed a better wind reader!
I enjoyed the meal and the weekend very much.

A big thank you to Ryan for another great match, and we ended up not even seeing a drop of rain. We had some great food which we owe a big thank you to Ryan, Travis and others I'm forgetting. Everyone needs to try this match and meet Mike at least once he is probably getting to near the end, we are always amazed he has made it another year.

I second James' comments. A great match, good comradry, and terrific hospitality by all of the Buck Snort members. Enjoyed meeting and spending quality time with all.

These guys can't be praised enough for their efforts to make this happen for us. The place was mowed like a park again thanks to some long hours by mr.Scott Young! Christopher Stranigan is a range officer extraordinarily skilled at getting it done easily. Special people who want our sport to thrive at this range. Thank you from all of the Fclass shooters gentlemen!

It's a bit late but us old folks don't get around as fast as you guys, lol!
We also want to say a big THANK YOU to Ryan, Michelle, Christopher and Scott for a great match and good food, well ran as usual. And thanks to Travis for the frogs, you did a fine job. Wish we could help more.
Mike the beans were great and thanks for the fire too, it sure came in handy. We enjoyed a great weekend with our friends. You guys treat us like we are home. Thanks again and see you in July. Richard and Tammy

Right Mark,,,, I was a little hurt at first, and I'm not even shooting. but I figured I was in good company. Lol..... oh, IMMIKE will have some excuses.
Trapp, you need to get back to Missouri, and shoot sometime.

I'm going to make it back there one of these days, maybe the next time I come out see the folks. You know if Mike wouldn't buy second hand bullets and try and shoot 290 grain bullets out of a .284 he might do pretty well. HA

Didn't go my way this time Keith. ( no beer bet out of you know who)... Mark Walker was on fire this morning...until the crossfire he really shot a good match! I didn't this time so I failed our state while Joe turkey went hunting. Lol The north wind had flags and mirage running opposite of each other with X's and 8's all over the score cards! Weather was pretty nice today so we patted Lamey on the head and sent him back over the border with a big NRA coin in his pocket. Lol.

P.S. He makes a really good breakfast burrito btw!

Mike a word of advice, don't ever eat anything a Marine cooks! You never know what is inside of the breakfast burrito! Plus Laney is an Arky, that should have clued you in right there!

Laney congrats bud! See you in Raton!

Walker good shooting bud! Don't worry we have all done it. I did it to Trudie last year in the team match@ Bergers. Very first shot of the day!

This is good advice :) see you next month bud.

Finally got caught up at work so I can add to the thread....

A great match and a memorable first time at Bucksnort. Worth the drive just to see old friends and make new ones. Thanks to Ryan, Michelle, Travis, Mike, Christopher and Scott for running a great match and keeping everyone safe and well fed.

On the FTR side I wanted to give a Michael and David a particular shout-out for their performance on Sat in really difficult conditions. Not sure what indicator you picked up on but your scores were phenomenal considering the frustrating conditions I was experiencing. Great job! Aaron, great job at keeping your cool on day 2 and making a come-from-behind charge to take second place. I really liked that most of us shot together so I know how difficult the wind was making it to hit the center of the target. I personally shot two 7s in one match. One in particular is still haunting me. When the mirage and flags agree that the wind has switched directions and you hold for it, but the bullet goes in the opposite direction, it sure does shatter your concentration as well as your confidence. Thought for a second that I held the wrong direction, but I hadn't. Need to shoot a few matches to get that shot out of my mind, got to replay it over and over on the 10-hour drive home....

And I even got to try frog legs for the first time, and they were tasty. The catfish, crappie, turkey were also excellent. There was also a casserole that was super good. Getting hungry...
