JGS Reamers

My first PPC reamer was another manufacturer with a three letter name
Then I bought a JGS pretty big difference cuts like butter

Super fast delivery, answer all your questions, quickly and thoroughly. Sara and Grant make ordering a custom reamer easy and professional. Wouldn't hesitate getting another reamer from them in a heart beat.

I guess no one is perfect. I have been happy with most reamers that I've had over the years, except a JGS 257 AI reamer that chatters, no matter what I do or what barrel. I'm sure they'd make it right if I asked, but I've never had a problem with a reamer from Dave Kiff at PT&G.

I am not looking to offend anyone but I just don't get the infatuation that some guys have with PTG. Comparing PTG to JGS is about the same as comparing a Ford Escort to a 707 horsepower Dodge Challenger Hellcat..... they just aren't in the same realm.

I don't know how much accuracy improvement you can get out of just a reamer, but I have a JGS pull thru {supposed to be a "match" reamer, I didn't buy it new} for M-14's and Garands. I used it once to chamber a 308 bolt gun because it was all I had 308 and everything it has chambered shot exceptionally well. I wouldn't hesitate to use/buy another reamer from JGS.

Great company to work with. They deliver when they say they will, usually sooner. They are easy to work with if your trying something new or if your trying to just get the "right" reamer. They stand behind what they sell. 5 star company!

It doesn't get any better. Experience, quality, precision, service, and you receive what you order. Outstanding professionals;)

As Tony the Tiger would say…. They're Grrreat!

You may be the luckiest person on the planet. I have had nothing but trouble with most every PTG reamer that I own. JGS or Manson from here on out. Very knowledge and great customer service from both. Can't say the same about PTG. Just sad at this point.

I have 1 JGS and it cuts very nice chambers.
I have limited experience but below is what I believe to be correct regarding bushings.
The bushing from JGS, PTG and Manson are interchangeable except the 20/17 cal (yep - learned the hard way). Manson is able to use a smaller ID on the small bore reamers due to their clip design (vs a retaining screw) thus theirs will not fit PTG (and assume JGS). The JGS reamer I have is a 6 Dasher and I used Manson bushings and they fit as they should. I also used those bushings on a PTG 6 BR reamer. I do like the Manson bushing design better for the 20 cal. The bushing side wall thickness is more substantial. I have both and both have worked fine.

Since PT&G makes more reamer than the others do..combined, and probably several times over....maybe you're the UNluckiest person on the planet. Since this is not supposed to be a bash fest of a site sponsor, please describe what problems you've personally seen to me by pm. I'd like to know.

I bought my first JGS reamer, when Keith Francis was in charge, nearly 40 years ago. Their customer service and product line are the best! They can actually help you with a non-standard design, read Wildcat.
