I agree - its been fun to see others ingenuity, imagination, and talent show up here. There are a lot of talented woodworkers out there. Precision reloading and precision wood working seem to attract a similar mind set!

I built a 5 shot bullet holder out of Birdseye that holds my cases nose down for bench that is beautifully polished but that sorting table is the stuff!! I think you created my next necessity!

In the dead of winter you don't get to shoot a lot in Colorado, so I get busy and fiddle with other stuff. Since the OP was looking for ideas, I'll put up a few more.

How does the Kingwood act around tools? I made a couple stock blanks out of Epe. I don't like the way it works. It chips out, just by looking at it. I'm looking for another good exotic. Josh

Absolutely!! "Nando" does fantastic work. He's the reason I started making stocks.
He provided the inspiration when I had finished my volunteer work and needed something to focus on. You should see his train set.

I make lots of reloading blocks for my buds and myself, they are not only functional, but they look good on the bench as well.



However, recently rekindled my interest in woodturning (winter has a way of doing that) and decided to use up some of my scrap pieces of Walnut and Maple.
