You betcha!A guy could get a AICS mag conversion for a ReM 700, buy the this kit and have it feed BR cases reliably??
So if it's possible,
A guy could get a AICS mag conversion for a ReM 700, buy the this kit and have it feed BR cases reliably??
Has anyone used it for a 22 BR??
Explain how you derive this conception and its extent of gain.
Thanks... Donovan
Mike Bryant in Texas might Be able to help. He's modified lots of BDL bottom metal to feed 6BR. His number is in the gunsmithing section.I'm guessing making my BDL bottom metal work must be out of the question? No takers? surely someone has tried it/
Al, are you using Wyatt boxes and 223 followers in those Remington Rifles?22 Dasher

I'm going to chime in again......
I decided for the heck of it to put my Dasher in a Magpul 700 Hunter stock for a
"Tactical/Practical" type rifle.
Used the bottoms metal from magpul along with their AICS mag and it feed flawlessly with no mods to the mag.
Nope, just regular BDL mag boxes with machined followers. Typically loaded the ammo in the middle of the magazine. Never saw the need for a rear spacer, as the rounds didn't seem to move from recoil. Also, polishing all the sharp edges of the feed rails helps feeding a bunch as well.Al, are you using Wyatt boxes and 223 followers in those Remington Rifles?
I agree.... our magpul mags worked great with no mod but I decided to put a floating teflon spacer in the back.... even better and easzy peazy! Have done 4 now ... about a 10-15 minute modification.
