How does yours shoot?40 deg 6mm Grendel.. Only about ten years behind the curve here with RW being the first and then Kreabum being the second with the 6mm Fat Rat. Now the Grinch LOL.

Ya know what though... It does shoot a lot of bullets well like you are finding out. 105's all the way down to 70's.
Elvin,As long as the 40 turbo or the fat rat has been around I would really be surprised that dean hasn't seen one or heard of it I found this print on line with a Google search it's not the freebore I shoot but I have beat a lot of bolt rifles at the long range varmint game with this round out to 850 yds!
my friend and I both built these just to see what we could with them
The best part is they are both AR15 's we shoot a bipod but the rules are no rear support other than your hand this gun will shoot right with my 6 BRX it's the craziest thing I've seen in a long time. I also shoot it in tactical matches. It won the NOR-NEV match in June 2016 I started with a Kreiger barrel 1in 8 twist 2inch extended gas system after 2000 rounds my groups started to open up so I set it back 2inches went with a standard rifle length gas system and I am getting close to 2000 rounds again I get about 12 firings out of my brass, Lapua I will post the typical groups I get when I do a zero check before a match View attachment 1003737 View attachment 1003738
What powders are being used for Grinch + 80's? Any different for Grinch + 103/105s?
Thought I saw a reference to N135 somewhere. Is N135 similar to H4895?
thanks,
J
With the 80 gr bullets we have pretty much used powders that we use in the 6ppc such as v133 and 8208! We shot some V135 and it seems to work as well!
With the heavier bullets it's been RL 15, Varget, 4895. We haven't shot much of the 135 yet with the heavier bullet! But it will probably work to.
Bart
Try the V135. I've only shot a pound of it but it looked pretty good!Bart, thanks for update!
Friend found and sent me this older post that referenced V135 (this is probably what I saw earlier but couldn't find it). Looks like V135 was listed "better" than V133? If I had to pick one for 80gr, which one would you suggest? V133 or V135?
thanks!

Are V133/135 powders temperature sensitive?
