SPAM

Mr Moderator

I have noticed that many of the other Forums I visit are being buried in Spam to the point that it is pushing all the legitimate threads to the 2nd or 3rd page where they are lost forever since many viewers never bother to look past page 1.

It doesn't appear that they have invaded 6mmBR yet. Or is it simply that you are ever vigilent and keep deleting the stuff? Any suggestions or advice?

We require email verification before someone can post in the message board. That blocks most of the spam-bots.

it's all about the $$$... Spamsters get paid based on the # of Emails they send out, and a bonus for any that are responded to.

Unfortunately, Ray has passed on to the next level leaving us diminished by the loss.

Ray mainly posted here on obscure cartridge questions, as collecting cartridges (esp benchrest and wildcats) was one of his passions. He also used to compete in BR shooting.
