6mm Norma Dasher Brass, where to get???

Hey guys, a bunch of us guys here in CA converted over to the new Norma Dasher Brass, reamers and everything, where can we get that brass now. Bullets.com wont ship to CA any l;longer?. There must be a resource but none of us know what it is yet???
Of course the brass is different to what we used before, all new chambers and even the shell holder.
Thx for your help.

We are awaiting final language from the attorneys on the new Prop 65 verbiage and should have it in a few days. As soon as that is done we will be able to label the Dasher brass and release it to CA. Other brass will probably follow after that.

This is great news.
We are so screwed on this right now after all the costs of converting.
Than you very much.

CA folks that asked me to post this thread.
I was contacted by two people on this forum that have 500 Norma 6mm Dasher and 100 Norma 6mm Dasher cases for sale respectively, if you are interested let me know ill put you n touch with them or you can search out their posting if there is one.
We can always go back to fire forming, that may be the best of all worlds considering all things these days.
I still think the Lapua brass is better than the Norma any day.

from what I have been reading here, the NORMA Dasher brass does not interchange with the LAPUA?
Why would NORMA change dimensions?
The 6mmBR Norma (mother case to 6Dasher) is a Norma made cartridge, that Norma makes brass for.
When Lapua started making 6mmBR Norma brass, there specifications were enlarged at the base/web.
The Norma 6Dasher brass are very near the same as there own 6mmBR Norma cases at the base/web.
With that said, it is Lapua who didn't fallow the dimensional specs to the 6mmBR Norma.

Donavon I think theres not a thing wrong with either brass as long as it fits your need.PS lapua or the norma

I was going to do a short write up but i'm bushed, been out working with the 6mm Dasher-Whitley all day, one of the best Dasher packages out there if not the best.
But it will need to wait until i have the energy and interest.
All Dashers are wild cats, not one is a standardized case, not one. Private label or not, custom made single sourced vendor, or fire form your own and not be at anyones mercy and whim, lots of options, always are.
I dont understand why more just dont go to a super performance super reliable and easy to use 6mmx47, mine work as well or better than the Dashers, easy to make brass, a few grains more power, no more recoil thats noticeable, no less barrel life, dont go for that myth.
Great parent case on and on.
More soon, we shoot all year in the socialist republic of CA, funny how that all works out.

DASHER R&D Update;
Recent additional R&D, due to the Norma brass single sourced products availability confusion indicate the following;
As always a tried and true complete package is superior for best results, no new news here, just reconfirming.
What we are seeing here at Thor Engineering is that the standard Lapua 6br brass fire formed out to the Whitley chamber dimms along with the Whitley die set yield excellent accuracy results that is easily repeatable.
Plenty of parent case brass around from various vendors. It is easy and reasonably accurate to fire form at 6br velocities in local matches as well.
Any time you try to standardize on a sole sourced product there is risk of getting in big trouble if that supplier goes hay wire for any number of reasons. Short term or not, ya have to ask yourself, is it worth the aggravation?
Here in sunny NorCal we shoot all year long, yes another great shooting day today, so component viability is a big concern. But not for long when simple changes resolve the issues moving forward.
Good planning generally supports good shooting.

What does Thor Engineering do? Haven't heard of you guys.
We do not do anything that is allowed to be publicly posted on a public forum such as this one.
The Dasher R&D up date was pre cleared for this forum.
Thx for asking.
