Shiraz just got back to me and the brass is cleared for shipping to California again. Yesterday there was a glitch in the website still flagging the brass as no shipments to California.
If you currently have the brass in your cart, you'll probably have to remove it and add it again to clear the shipping restriction.
As a fan of the current thicker rimmed brass, I just bought more myself... future batches will have a standard (thinner) rim.
