Mid range AR tactical, who's tried it ?

IMG_2806.JPG I'm a F-tr shooter and going to try this AR class just for something different.
How many of you have done it ?
Took my 6x45 coyote rife put a Geissele service rife trigger in it and 12x Leuplod and I'm in the game . Looks to be a fun .

I'm just waiting for the snow to melt or pack down to give it a try myself...just received a couple of 20 rnd mags yesterday so that I don't high center on my 30 rnd mags...it should be fun....

We Need more guys like you... Please bring a friend or two. Let them shoot your rifle if need be....
It takes Five entree's to form an award for most approved matches across the country. So five guys, girls or Jr's shooting this Class of Rifle is what we would all like to see. Please come out and join us..

Got a link to the rules? I have a rifle I suspect is perfect for it, but would like to be sure.

Now, just to be able to keep my AR how I want it here in PRK is another story.

Nope, my NMA2 Service rifle is as close as I can get equipment wise, my other guns are "match rifle" style. Bummer.

We have had several shooters try this at our Mid Range F-Class matches. I plan to give it a try at least once this season just for grins.

Go for it. If your the only one to shoot the class, then your guaranteed 1st place. Just no award. You don't have to tell friends that you were shooting unopposed, when bragging about taking 1st.

Part of putting this rifle together was so if I want to bring a new shooter to a match they could shoot it and I would just shot my F class gun .
What I like about AR tactical is most people could buy a factory rife and be competitive with most people on the line . My rife shoots OK and is nothing fancy and seems to hold the 10 ring with good x counts on a MR-52 200 yard target , so I can't wait to test it @ 600 with some wind to see how it will perform.

We would love to have all of you that want to try this class. Can even shoot some Black Hills or Gold Medal Match 77gr ammo and do well.
Get out there and give it a try!!!

Looks like a great new sport. A few buddies are considering it and I advised them on builds. Since I don't own the right kind of rifle, I think I'll wait a year or two until the rules seem more stable and also to see how support grows at the ranges I frequent. But if I had the right rifle, I'd likely be shooting it this year: looks fun.

Exactly what I was planning to do...pull some guy that is watching intently from back of the line...hand him my AR and coach him up to the line...make arrangements with the Match Director so that they know we need to share positions so that I can score/coach the new shooter...it's all about getting new shooters on the line...

Love that attitude. Glad to have people like you in the sport. Carry on ...
